I had no clue that it basically sterilizes kids once they go on the hormone therapy. I always thought that yes it is impeding their bodies of doing what they were made to do but always thought that a teen could change their minds at a different time. How could any parent allow their 11/12 year old to sterilize themselves before they are old enough to make such an important decision?

I didn't either. The fact that this is not illegal and child abuse is insane.
My 11 year old can't make a PB & J sandwhich without making a mess. Yet, we expect these kids to understand the mess that will be created out of their lives once they take these puberty blockers?

Before I thought that is was just these parents allowing these kids that feel different to live out their fantasy. I thought these kids had time to change their minds before any permanent damage was done.

I don't think it's a disorder but i also don't Think kids can comprehend the potential ramifications. That being said, how many trans kids go back to their birth gender and how many trans kids say they regret their life in the other gender?

In Louisiana my son, if accompanied by me or his mother, can drink a beer legally at 18.

Well science disagrees. Both in the case of gender disphoria, and munchausen's by proxy.
Also, in the case of number of kids go back to birth gender, that would be all of them. These people aren't switching gender. They are presenting an outward appearance to mimic the opposite gender.
And science hasn't answered your question about trans-regret. I have yet to find a peer reviewed study that surveys people, especially people who transitioned early.
