The NCAA is bragging about having 20,000 fans but then they obsess only about the relative handful of people in attendance who are wearing a uniform.

You are correct.

Whoever wins this CWS, a HUGE * is required!

NCAA needs to get a grip!

We no longer have that type of sportsmanship here in this country.

I wrote a three paragraph medically oriented response this morning to a Raleigh News and Observer hit-piece targeting the coach and players. Basically centered around the lack of rationale associated with the NCAA position and nonsensical vaccination of recovered Covid patients.

There were only three comments at that point. All were in agreement with the author. I responded to one.

Within 3 minutes both of my posts disappeared from the site. A fricking sportswriter writes about the wonders of college athlete vaccination. A physician responds, and the fricking sports writer or his minions block the opinion.

That is where we are in this country!

This is not true. Pfizer and Moderna are most certainly not vaccines. They are each experimental gene therapy. You would not have any antibodies against the China virus.

The NCST AD whimped out in his tweet. He didn't defend nor asked the tough questions on why alternate ways could be used to get NCST back and extend the CWS.

The NCST AD should have also asked for Vandy's vaccinated players to also be administered the same exact COVID test.

True of antibody tests. I'd hope they'd at least be running PCRs rather than Antibody tests

It is absolutely 100% true. Both Pfizer and Moderna generate antibodies. But as the fellow said, that's like 6th grade level understanding. So it may be a little elevated in this instance.

And so why would you test 30 something times? Unless you are one of the fear driven sheep that perpetuate this nonsense by believing it?

I gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was required by his employer, but the other option remains.

Possible lawsuit from the players or is that against NCAA laws...I mean rules too?

Any player that celebrates winning this tournament is a chump..as they will be asterisk winners.

I use to support the NCAA and wouldn't support any forced changes. The last few years they've burned that bridge.

Nope. I remember, in the 70s and 80s, when players in the NFL played with the flu it was treated as a badge of honor and toughness.

Someone’s lying. This guy says no unvaxed players tested positive but everyone else, including their AD verified that two unvaxed did test positive.

It has been suggested the NCAA was flexing their muscles to show they were still relevant after the Supreme Court decision.
