I've been curious how this is supposed to work. Trump obviously can't give directly to a candidate in excess of the individual contribution limit. Will Trump form his own superPAC to go against these guys? If so that would be awesome. Get'em Donny!

SC Senators are not up for election in the 2018 race, but if Trump is mad at Mark Sanford that's the congressional district I'm in.

The real shitbirds to be targeted are Flake, Bob Corker (TN), and Orrin Harch (UT), IMHO.
There aren't many other Republicans up and the ones who are seem tolerable.

Trump already blew it up. The only thing going on right now is weeding through who is going to assimilate with the new GOP and who needs to be cleaned out.
It is now a nationalist and conservative party and that will take a while to fully implement.

Bob Corker is human garbage. He's been bought and paid for by health insurance lobbyists since he was mayor of Chattanooga. Only won his Senate seat because he ran against Harold "My whole fricking family is in prison for election fraud" Ford Jr.

Sanford's district is the epitome of a country-club Republican district since they took away the redneck votes in Georgetown and Horry Counties. I can't see a Trump candidate getting more than 25% of the vote there. I can remember when Sanford was our Congressman back when Horry County was still in the old 1st District. He was socially awkward but would talk to the average citizen about the most minute policy issues. He really is a brilliant guy and was SC's Ron Paul when in Congress. It's a shame he let his personal life and his continued fighting with his ex-wife ruin his political career.

Clyburn could get caught smuggling drugs to fund ISIS terrorist activities with two kidnapped children tied up in the trunk of his car and his counties would still vote for him. He has the one qualification that matters to them.

It will be completely blown up once NAFTA and other bilateral trade agreements get renegotiated. This is where the money is (multi-trillions) and where the congress people do the bidding for big business. As soon as those agreements get torn up and re-done then the realignment of congress to Trumpism will begin...because big business will be forced to operate in the new confines of Trumpism and they will force their congressional puppets to do the same.
However the resistance for the next 6-8 months (beginning next month) is going to be brutal.
