O'Keefe and the CNN leaks

I have been out dealing with personal stuff so not paying attention. Were these a dud? Are they anymore?
If they were a dud, has anyone ever ruined their rep like O'keefe and was still taken seriously? Was this the last nail in his coffin?

I think the audio was two CNN producers in Atlanta in 2009 talking about how Fox News is horrible and global warming is real and the deniers are stupid.

It's hard telling what, if any, information had been exposed because the MSM will not cover it. Just like PP butcher sales of dissected babies, Gosnell, Hillary's treason, Obamas life history of being an anti American slimy Communist. Hard to tell.

its a big fat nothing burger. The only thing this accomplished was bringing awareness to a 10k reward to anyone who can bring dirt on the MSM. Plus it makes the MSM look over their shoulder.

By an official government body or by the media (of which O'Keefe clearly is a part of) self-policing itself?

Dude uncovered the voter fraud methods the dems use and how the dems paid people to incite riots at trump rallies. That had a profound impact on the election.
His exposes are more impactful then any New York Times propagandist.

? That isn't even a response. The issue is how much oversight can one dude with a camera do? Virtually none.
Try this hypothetical: Imagine Trump replacing the Washington press corps with a dude with a camera. Enough oversight for you?
Why not? Nothing is stopping that one dude from getting his message out.
We rightfully want the press to hold powerful people and organizations accountable. But the problem is that media ARE powerful organizations.
(well that is among SEVERAL problems I have with the media)
