NYT live trackIf Balderson don't win by 5+ points against a shitty Dem candidate, the democrats could take 50+ seat in the house come November.
Especially after this huge campaign push from the president, the VP, and the GOP including the likes of Kasich.

I hope I am wrong.

Ohio won't let Trump down therefore they will hold their nose and vote R.

I bet the Dem wins, it is the same playbook they use when they need to win seats. They run a guy out there that is a Moderate Democrat, says all the right things about religion, military, LEOs etc. The sumbitch will win and then vote right along with Nancy Pelosi and Elijah Cummings. Then 6 years later he will lose his arse in a re-election bid.

How is this getting downvotes? This is exactly what happens

Because he said the Dem will win

If the primary was any indication as to what the outcome will be, the good guys should win

Primary:

Good guys - 67,847 votes
Bad guys - 43,925 votes

Bad guys are only up in 1 poll (bad poll)

This reminds me of that PA race

Dem runs nice young “moderate” against stale generic R

It’ll be close

I don’t think Balderson is as stale as that fat arse running in PA. That dude didn’t even go out to campaign he just thought he’d win since it was a heavy R district. I called Lamb (D) winning that race. Balderson is going to win tonight.

Will be dems in a landslide. No doubt about it. Saw it on CNN and MSNBC. No one predicts a landslide like CNN and MSNBC.

Balderson (Rep) is an excellent candidate. There is no excuse for him to lose to a unknown neophyte (O'Connor) in a district Trump won by 11% and the Repubs have held since 1980.

I don't need MSLSD and FNN. This is an 85% white district. If a strong traditional GOP candidate can't win, they are in deep trouble.

True, but it is also a Suburban Columbus district. Trump is not particularly liked in traditional gop burbs

Trump carried this district by 11% in 2016. And almost half the district is small-town, rural areas.

Trump won bigly last time.

I predict the GOP candidate will win by 5+, I'd be concerned if didn't.

The Dems are doing this in AZ for the Senate seat. They are running an "independent moderate" that is keeping all mention of party affiliation scrubbed from ads. Her campaign signs are purple and yellow like a sunset. She doesn't mention much of anything about policy. Just "forge relationships to get things done" with an "independent record."

She is a socialist Democrat that is fairly photogenic... and DGAF about constituents
