Offset your Carbon Emissions

So I get an e-receipt from Delta Airlines and at the top of the email, just under my Flight Itinerary is this:
Offset your Carbon Emissions
We have partnered with The Nature Conservancy to allow you to offset your carbon emissions for this trip. Go to delta.com/CO2 to calculate your CO2 emissions and learn more about offsetting.
It wasn't buried among the legalize @ the bottom but front and center. IMO, this is how it all begins. They put it in front of you enough times and it becomes the standard.
Message to Delta: "No, I'm not offsetting my carbon emissions and neither is anyone with more than half a brain."

Soon people will do this regularly just like they buy the insurance from rental car companies. Delta will fund a way to make a profit off of this.
