re: Officials Suspect Mexican Cartel Arsonists Behind Historic California Fires

Considering that something like 75% of all wildfires are due to arson or negligence it wouldn't surprise me if some of them were started by the cartel.
However, this particular article lost all credibility with me when they claimed most wildfires in California are in December/January.
Common sense raised my suspicions.
A ten second Google search confirmed that 100% of California's worst wildfires were started between July and October.
ETA: while this point has nothing to do with the cartel it shows that the article is willing to make shite up just to push an argument.

I do not buy this theory and I am a strong supporter of the wall AND ending DACA AND no amnesty.
The intensity of these wildfires is a direct result of poor timber management practices and environmental whack jobs insisting on natural growth.

Absolutely frickin impossible! Everyone knows that global warming is to blame for both the fires and the levee flooding/drought busting rains earlier in the year.
Why do you hate science so much?

No need to worry. Jeff Sessions is on the case. The devils lettuce will be illegal again soon so the cartels can take back over

For the pedogate followers, there were some interesting places destroyed by the fires.

Didn't CA stop doing controlled burns years ago?
Look at when they stopped and when these fires started getting worse.

quote:The timing is interesting. California just confiscated about 1/2 BILLION dollars in cartel marijuana plants grown at a dozen Cartel backed farms in California forests. The busts coincide almost exactly with onset of the fires.
Lol ok

While massive wildfires are far from uncommon in California’s forests, they usually occur in December and January, not October.
Having lived in California for a number of years and experiencing multiple fires, I can say this is bullshite. The fires are typical in Sept/Oct when the Santa Ana winds are blowing superheated desert air.
Dec/Jan is the rainy season in California.
Everything else is very plausible.

It think the point is that they're capping the competition. Legal mj is cutting into their market.
A, they make shite on marijuana anywho. Meth, heroin, and blow are the cash cows...
B, nobody is stopping them from legal front companies that grow. Recreational marijuana actually gives them a great avenue for legit funds.

Meh
California, Who gives a frick. Weren't they seceding back in December of 2016 over some election or something?

That would connect it to the CIA/FBI too. This only strengthens the likelihood this is pedogate connected.

Holy crap, what a theory.

Yes, and it's funded by their weed operations which are their bread and butter

I seriously doubt cartels are going to go through the trouble of forming legit mj "front companies"

how easy is it to start a fire in california?
throwing a few molotov cocktails out the window?
shooting a few bottlerockets?
not exactly a stretch to think the cartels could expend a little energy to knock out the competition.
its not like they cut people up and hang carcasses from the interstate bridges at night or dig massive tunnels from mexico to baja with lights & railroads.
this is a cakewalk by comparison
