In pretty sure WIC checks have very specific items that can be purchase a with them, they aren't flexible like SNAP is

i.e. the check itself says "I dozen eggs, 1 pack cheese" etc

And don't have sex with a man capable of lying about supporting you. And don't have sex with a man who might change into a shitbag a few years down the road. And definitely don't have sex with a man who might die in a car accident or get shot, if he does that shite is on you. Sex should be a sacred bond between a psychic woman and an immortal superman. 1. Keep creating excuses while children are raised by the state (via the taxpayer) without fathers.

2. Post results

3. ???

4. Profit

I got to looking at what she(taxpayers) was buying. Milk, flour, eggs, sugar, 10# of rice, 10# of white beans, 5# of bologna, 20# of potatoes, onions, salt pork, tea (no soft drinks),
cabbage, lettuce and tomatoes. Nothing processed. No TV dinner stuff.

When she apologized the third time for taking so long, I told her it was refreshing to see a young woman who could cook these days. I was happy to see someone who didn't appear to be working the system.

so she was nice and can cook? was she an OT 5 or better?

In all seriousness, I don't mind helping that kind of ppl but this pisses me off.

How do you know she is taking advantage of the system? Some ppl just get dealt shitty hands in life. I know one girl that gets assistance because her husband that made over 100k/yr ran off and left her and the kid. She has been "on the system" for 3 years while she finished up getting her RN. She already has a job offer for when she graduates in a few weeks and will be off the system then.

And other people shouldn't be punished for it.

I trust you're a sidewalk alum who shits in an outhouse and beats their own path to work every day through the bushes, yes? That this is in no way going to be the usual ancap spiel where food stampers come in to take special lickings for their EBT cards while the benefits you enjoy such as roads, colleges, and municipal grids are excused because they're slightly more attenuated than cash, or with some mumbling about "well, I have to live under the system we have." (Spoilers: other people have to live too.)

If you want to make a conservative case for reduced welfare or no welfare, that's one thing. TAXES R THEFT ROTHBARD 4 LIFE makes you either a mountain man or a hypocritical douche.

You're not attacking the argument, you're attacking me.

I have a strong feeling it isn't the former

I'm not saying anything one way or another about the taxes argument, insofar as a definition or an axiom can be considered an argument. I'm saying that if your argument is true, it's not unique to welfare. If you can be excused for driving on roads, these women can be excused for (reasonable) use of food stamp programs.

I was behind a family last night. The two kids were literally out of control, screaming bloody murder. They kept telling them to "shut up", did no good. Kids were approximately 3 and 2. They had all kinds of crap in their basket. I was in a hurry, one line open at Wal-Mart, then they whip out the card and he said he didn't know how to use it. Took about 15 minutes for them to check out. Got out to the parking lot and they were loading their car, the man was screaming like crazy at the two screaming kids telling them he was going to "Knock the shite out of them", "Beat their arse", etc. My experience is probably the typical stereotype. Didn't feel at all sorry for them, especially the way they were treating the kids. Hell, don't have kids if they aggravate you that much.

You don't know how big her family is, do you? What if she's helping to take care of a group of people. Ever consider that?!
