Back to the OP. Have you ever sat around the big table and heard someone say something cringeworthy like this? It's like they're finally letting everyone in on the secret and expecting everyone to nod in agreement, when in fact errbody in the room is thinking "WTF?" It's a textbook definition of hubris.
