Okay.

I don't know how to make it any more understandable.

Obama takes a tragedy and compares it to a similar one in Australia. Australia's response was to ban guns. He says that he admires the response that they took.

In my opinion that shows that he doesn't merely want little restrictions. There are already restrictions but that isn't enough.

You still have not added to the conversation.

I'm not arguing his point. I'm arguing, and laughing at, the fact that you think Obama is coming for your guns.

Did you originally believe that if you liked your doctor you can keep your doctor under ACA? Answer truthfully please.

He couldn't get "reasonable" background checks, so he decided that the next move would be confiscation?

Sometimes plans take more than one step Totes. It seems you are willing to take your rights and let them roll them down the slope.

Do you think he would push for very strict gun control laws if he had any political clout left?

I absolutely think he would. The problem is no one wants to work with him on either side of the aisle anymore.

So can you point me to where he says he admires Australia's response or that he'd like to implement a similar confiscation?

Or is it just there is the subtext of what he said?

Our levels of gun violence are off the charts. There’s no advanced, developed country that would put up with this.

He seems to be advocating some action here.

I'm going to ignore Obama's first clause as it is patently false. The US firearm crime rate has been in a free fall since the early 1990s

Does 'some action' mean outright confiscation?

I've never heard the man say confiscation.

He's not going to say confiscation; it would complete his political suicide.

I'm not worried about Obama trying push through anti-gun legislation. Like I said, he's a political dumpster fire at this point. The overall attitude towards gun ownership and the neglecting of facts by members of the left is troubling though.

You can clearly tell what he is saying and have your head in the sand if you don't think that is what he and a certain other few are all about.

Sorry.

Calling for some action while praising a government's policy that was widespread confiscation, is pretty damn close. He isn't a complete moron. He isn't going to come right out and say it like Feinstein. The indication is still there.

It would be like saying Jews have become a big problem, while simultaneously praising Nazi Germany's policies. The dots are there, just not connected.

Doesn't mean he is going to do anything. He is just trying to rile up a social movement and see what happens.

There is absolutely zero chance he thinks he can gun grab. Republicans love guns. More importantly, democrats often love guns.

There's also no way he missed on "common sense legislation" and then said "well, frick it, I'm going to take everyone's guns."

There are Brady instant background checks conducted by every FFL holder before transferring a firearm to an American citizen - 100% of the time.

What do you define as "reasonable"?

Antonio already told you this.

And did I say with the utterance of that phrase that he was immediately mobilizing domestic forces? No I said it contradicts other statements he has made and exposes his true ideological fantasy.

But keep trying.
