Violent movies don't actively attempt to get viewers to perpetrate their actions. Intent matters.
You can't know what their intentions are if they don't share them. So how can you use that to judge culpability?

Also, consider that ISIS makes claims that are hard to refute. "he converted to Islam and killed these people for us" is almost impossible to refute.
If they don't provide evidence orchestrated prior to the attack, then i find it unlikely they have any practical involvement.

Does this mean ISIS had a role in Vegas? There is as yet zero evidence of that.
K. So, really nothing then.

Well being serious about ISIS means going after its source material in Saudi...

There comes a point where appeasement and diplomacy and "treading lightly" no longer works. What Trump said about diplomacy with North Korea being destined for failure probably applies to ISIS.
And yes, that means war and the death if women and children, innocent or not.
Which is exactly what the ISIS loons want. They want more combat with us bc it will in their eyes rally more to their cause. They also want to be a martyr. The avg life span for an ISIS fighter is less than a year. They think after they are defeated by the armies of the west, it will bring on the rapture. They think Jesus will rise and fight along side their death cult.
frick Wahhabism is some insane shite.

You seem very closed-minded. Are you Muslim? Did you marry a Muslim over in Iraq or something?
I'd consider him a SME on the region over 99% of this board and over the people who have never left the south.

An admission is evidence.
Therefore, there is more evidence that ISIS was behind this attack than there is for Trump working with the Russians to hack the election.

Not going to lie over my head. I got spoon feed on Sunni vs Shai vs Kurd
Looked up your two things they sound shitty
Personally I know it is racist but if your religion has a dress code it sucks
Also all Jesus wants is us not to be douchebags
I like to simplify

While i believe you are correct, I'm really over people making definitive statements like they know shite.
It's been less than a week.
Despite claims, there's no "official story" because the officials are STILL investigating.
All we can say today is that INDICATIONS say XYZ.
Everyone going beyond that is a tard

That's exactly what a FBI would say...
An objective person would say...
ISIS claims responsibility
Other than the madman scenario, few other motives are being told...
- he travelled abroad
- his GF was Aussie/PI heritage
- social media presence deleted...even in federal databases
- ISIS threatened Vegas
Those are things we know that could factor into an ISIS connection...so although not exceedingly likely...

What about how dirty they are? They trash any neighborhood they move into and spread ancient and communicable diseases constantly.
Somehow a Somali type guy was in Economy Plus on our flight back from Paris and his disgusting feet were in my line of vision for the entire 7 hour flight - he wore nasty sandals and I can still picture his vomit-inducing nails

We don't have enough information to rule that out. The fact that we don't know his motive still coupled with ISIS's claims means you really have no basis to conclusively state that they weren't involved.
Perhaps the FBI has enough info that they simply haven't released, but we don't.
This case is strange AF and I wouldn't rule out much of anything right now. We know ISIS has the motive, will, and means to carry out these attacks so it's not an off the wall suggestion. The question would be how the hell does a guy like Paddock get involved with an Islamic fundamentalist movement that appears to have no similarity in ideals or lifestyle.

What are their means exactly? How many attacks have involved any ISIS resources? Certainly they've sponsored some acts, but which ones exactly?
