No. She went from school to school filing lawsuits. After they complied and built elevators at Byrd she transferred to another school and kept filing lawsuits.

I guess my main concern is how a school in 2014 is not wheelchair accessible?

Simple. Because it's not a private business. Compliance with ADA is only for the little organizations.

Because it was built in 1925 and is registered as an historical site.

the first half is about prevention. Ok, we can have a good debate on that one. Casse to be made for prevention.

However, the second half is about giving them civil rights protections under the ADA. THAT is a problem.
