So, wait... you think that full speech isn't racist?

Many on the Far- Right agree to some extent. They should be happy that his entire speech is ignored since the more he speaks the more ridiculous it gets. He compares him self to Rosa Parks, MLK,etc...(No armed militias surrounded Rosa Parks, MLK, Civil Rights groups/Leaders & weren't welcome).

I would almost feel sorry for this pathetic old man if not for the fact that he & his militia were armed & threatening violence.

Most Ranchers pay their highly subsidized grazing fees without issue & the only support this guy can get are Anti-Government/White Nationalist militias.

And Fox News until they abandoned him.

He's a BODYGUARD, for chrissake. He's SUPPOSED to say he'd take a bullet for his boss if he expects to keep his job.

Uncle Tom porch monkey. It is not allowed for a person to evaluate another based on their actions and personal experience. Skin color is the sole indicator to be used when judging others.

The transcript was available for those interested.

quote:

CNN REPORTER: You’re protecting this man and he’s wondering whether African-Americans would be better off as slaves. How does that strike you?

JASON BULLOCK, BODYGUARD FOR CLIVEN BUNDY: It doesn’t strike me any kind of way. This is still the same old Mr. Bundy I met from the first day of all this happening.

CNN REPORTER: But aren’t those offensive comments to you

BULLOCK: Not at all.

CNN REPORTER: Not offensive?

BULLOCK: Because Mr. Bundy is not a racist. Ever since I’ve been here he’s treated me with nothing but hospitality. He’s pretty much treated me like his own family. …

BULLOCK: I would take a bullet for that man, if need be. I look up to him just like I do my own grandfather.

CNN REPORTER: Why?

BULLOCK: Because I believe in his cause and after having met Mr. Bundy a few times, I have a really good feel about him and I’m a pretty good judge of character.

The blogger hit the nail on the head as well:

quote:

The question is: What does the guy’s character have to do with the principle in play, anyway? Bundy’s story was not picked for his character, it was picked because it was an abuse of the federal government’s power.
The fact that so many think his story is nullified by his personal opinions goes to show how many in the American public there are who are simply incapable of defending their own rights whenever a leftist yells that he finds something “offensive.”
But add this bodyguard’s testimony to the black Marine’s letter and the oustanding video from Kira Davis, and maybe there’s hope that people will stop being willing to yield on their rights and freedoms whenever the leftists squeal “racism!”
The “progressives” are dining out on character assassination instead of doing what’s best for America, and it’s about time people had enough of it.

Sounds like a sell out race traitor who doesn't have any authentic slave blood. Was he speaking in the Negro dialect?

The Selma to Montgomery marchers who were protected by the Nat'l Guard, would beg to differ, as would many, many 1960's civil rights activists.

The facts are Bundy was juxtaposing the slavery of the 1700's & 1800's with what he perceives to be institutional slavery of the 20th century.

Under the former slavery blacks were treated with unquestionable cruelties that were brought on them by others, but under todays institutional slavery Mr. Bundy seems to think that it might be worse, because now the A-A's are bringing the violence upon themselves through murder, abortion etc etc.

Comparing one to the other doesn't necessarily mean that he thinks either form is right.

The Jewish people were murdered ( 6 million ) under Adolph Hitler, if another political monster rose up again and murdered 14 million Jews, someone might say the Jewish peoples were better off under Hitler ( if they were a country hick with bad speaking abilities, lol ) but both events in history would be cruel and evil.

I also think the welfare society has hurt our poor, both black and white. But if someone pushes hard enough they can become successful.

A person isn't a racist if he treats all people equal and with respect and dignity.

Nothing in his speech was racist. I don't see how anyone can say that the full speech was racist.

It might be ignorant, but it isn't racist.

Even your allies at fox news have backed off this ignorant racist and called him out for it. But not you guys.

I'll give you this, once you back someone, your loyalty never ends, even with the rest of the world realizes what a racist piece of trash he is.

Those morons probably haven't read the full transcript either. Liberals don't corner the market on half-assed knee-jerk reaction.

1. I don't watch Fox

2. I don't defend Bundy's actions because I think he is in the wrong legally. But I have a big problem with how the Government is handling it and Reid's connection.

3. What he stated wasn't racist. I just don't see it. It's obvious that isn't racist towards Mexicans. He made a correlation between slavery and welfare, which isn't entirely wrong if you understand his point but in your narrow minded view all you see is that he "thinks they were better off as slaves" which isn't true at all.
