I just watched this video and looked at the pictures. My question is, where is the dirt from the area they dug out? Wouldn't they have just put it on one side so they could cover them up? Something weird about it.

Well the coffins will obviously displace a lot of the volume

It does seem like a rather strange story though

How many people on average a day die there anyway?

If nobody claims you, you go to the potter’s field. In a city the size of NY it’s more common than elsewhere.

I know. I saw the segment on it. So stupid and agenda driven. Where are the mass graves for all the other deaths New York faces yearly???

How lucky that someone happened to catch that on video/drone.

This propaganda is getting just plain silly.

It may be that the soil is contaminated and they are not allowed by epa regulations to reuse it as backfill. I’ve seen it a lot on large construction jobs in NJ, NY, MA and CT. The removed material has to be disposed of and fresh fill is brought in

Appears in a pic I posted this morning that it is just spread out along the top of the graves and the area around them where the caskets are. That seems pretty reasonable doesn't it?

NYC is the worst place in the US to die poor.

There was a thread on the OT once. Very sad.

Someone wrote up a blues song and posted in the thread - it was very good and they composed it on the spot.

Somewhere in the 40,000-50,000 per year see death rate of 575 in 100,000 for 2016, linked previously.

So, say....110-137 a day on average.

They pile up quick when nobodies leaves the house.

It said they have been doing this before corona so why is it a big deal now?

They’d be far better of just tossing the bodies in and backfilling. All that OSB is going to disappear quick and they’ll be correcting subsidences for years.

It be a good time to get rid of a body.....if Tony Soprano hadn’t got whacked in the last episode him and Paulie walnuts could have a field day.....

So if a person dies and no one will claim the body the state will dispose of it....FOR FREE.????.....thats a helluva plan....I think my wife and kids would go for it and save the funeral expenses......
