I'm a service technician for a company out of Baton Rouge. Had a service call to a Nursing Home in Tangipoha today. Arrived and entered through the front door. Upon coming up to the gate keeper of the nursing home she asked me for a copy of my vaccination card.

"I don't have one"
"Why not?"
"Because I'm unvaccinated"
"Do you have a copy of negative test from this week?"
"No ma'am, I had covid in August so there is no point."
"Well I can't let you in then."

I was in that same building on Monday working on equipment. The maintenance man came by at this point and completely lost it stating he was in here Monday. She said well this is today.

The maintenance man stated that he was unaware that covid decided this morning that it would attach to all unvaccinated people and come into the building but not Monday.

I said I appreciate it and we would have someone out in the next 6 to 8 hours to fix the problem.

Do these people not thing that they are going to run into this issue with every vendor they have? What the hell is different from Monday till today?

That is not state mandated guidance. They are doing their own thing and it makes no sense.

Was it the same gatekeeper that was there on Monday?
