Basically says Trump is taking funds away from the NPS in order to fund his July 4th celebration.
Had an “expert” from some kind of national parks rights group who was saying Trump is destroying parks.

But a HUGE part of the president's job is to inspire America; to elevate the national mood. Reagan was great at this. Carter was horrible. All his talk about "a national malaise" depressed the hell out of people.
My hunch is that this parade is going to inspire Americans and make us feel better, more patriotic. I'm not talking about liberals. They hate Trump and nothing he says or does will make them happy. I'm talking about the rest of us. You know, normal people.
So it it lifts the national mood, the money will have been worth it.
