Npr goes full stupid on alt-right = white supremacist garbage

Listened to the segment on the way home as part of my 24/7 "revel in the tears of stupid liberals" extravaganza.
They dig up this Spencer guy who "hopes to have influence in the trump administration" and is the self proclaimed leader of the alt-right, and because you know, bannon once said breitbart was a platform for the alt-right movement, it must be true.
Oh and after they let this loon opine on a white america for 5 minutes and mentioned this direct connection to the trump administration over and over, at the very end they cover themselves and say this loser has never spoken to anyone in the trump administration and the trump administration didn't bother to respond to NPR on the matter.
The loons just ain't gonna stop being loons because the people rejected them.

Trump just needs to cut ties with Bannon and be done with it. There's much better people out there.

Sorry, but the appointment of Bannon opened the door for that conversation.
To be clear, I am not saying he is a white supremacist, i am saying hos appointment brought the alt-right into the discussion.

One day they will realize that the alright is actually just normal conservatives talking on the Internet. Unfortunately for them that's not going to be until 2025 when they have guaranteed 12 straight years of Republican presidency. They are so caught up on these memes and outrageous statements to realize that much of these statements that they get trolled on are typically satire.

But bannon gave a platform for the alt-right to promote their views, and now those views are being discussed. whether it is fair or not, he is tied to them.
Similar to greg hardy. Tremendous football talent, but he has famously beaten his gf. Do i think jerry jones/dallas cowboys promote domestic violence? No. but the door was opened for a discussion about it by giving him a contract last season.

I've never heard of Spencer before the interview on NPR this evening, but he is a straight up racist and terrible for America.
But I don't think Trump is at all connected with him.
