Now that a lot of people hate the NFL, can we stop using taxpayer money to build stadiums?

Professional sports franchises have fleeced the American taxpayer long enough.
From St. Louis and its empty dome to Pearl, Mississippi being basically bankrupt after building a AA stadium for the Braves.

Actually, you will not likely see a ballot measure pass for that anytime soon.

I have never understood this. I would pass state laws banning public money going to private stadiums. A team moves? Oh well. You can be a fan of a team from another state.
