As if the news out of North Korea wasn’t bad enough, things might get a lot worse within the next 18 months. We should not be surprised if the Communist dictatorship develops a hydrogen bomb – the ultimate atomic weapon – with the potential to kill millions of people.
A Defense Department official I spoke to recently on the condition of not revealing his name told me it now appears the North Koreans are working to finish development of an H-bomb, and that they could succeed in as soon as six to 18 months. Such a bomb would be many times more powerful than the atomic bombs the United States dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan that led to the end of World War II.

That could be a game changer.

Every 6 months someone says something like this.
We need to develop a way to "steer" their next missile over China......I bet they do something then.

Considering their launch history...this could work out in our favor

If lil' Kim could clean up San Fran and L.A. before we usher him into the gates of hell, democRats wouldn't win for decades.

So you'd like to see two very populated American cities and millions of lives destroyed just so you can "win" elections?

An h bomb would be particularly worrisome because those can be scaled up with relative ease and no ceiling on the amount of yield.

actually, we can. the other sides refusal to even debate us without call8ng names and using 'ist' insults to avoid logical conversation is why most people couldn't care less about most of CA

Let them. I'm sure it will malfunction. You know, accidentally blow up.

Do you think everyone living in LA and San Francisco are democrats?

We've been talking about this problem for over a year....yet time keeps ticking away and we do little to nothing. I feel like I'm sitting on my porch with a beer watching a forest fire inch closer to my house....with no running water or a fire extinguisher...

no. i dont think all muslims are bad, and do t think all black people are criminals either. if i could erase the extremist part of islam or erase thug culture that gets crammed into young brains through the music industry and hollywood, i would.

Try 60 years, not one. It's amazing how many people clearly just didn't pay attention to world/political events before this past election. This posturing by North Korea is not new.

It's been said that we have cyber attacked their missile guidance software, so it's within reason that we could potentially alter a trajectory into Chinese airspace, though I think that might still be a little too sci-fi for the present day.
I would hope we have enough intelligence that if the military believed they had developed a missile that posed a significant danger to US civilians, they wouldn't even let them test it. As soon as they put it on the launch pad, we launch a strike.
