Nobody was arrested in DC Women's March Because Police Are Racist

Can we not congratulate ourselves on there being no arrests at the Women's March in DC? If there is anything police like to protect, it's white women and property.
As humans, police have implicit bias. And we happen to benefit from it. They aren't scared of us. The assumption is that we will be docile. You can tell because they were casually leaned against the car, only two on each corner, not in riot gear.
We white women can't congratulate ourselves for "protesting right". We are not superior or better to black lives matter protestors and DAPL protestors who were tear gassed and fire bombed. Police showed up to those events already in riot gear with tanks and tear gas because of their implicit bias against black and brown people. Already on edge.
I've been to both types of protests. And I can tell you, they approached both peaceful crowds in completely different ways. And this is the only difference between the two.
