This is the best thing WJBO could have done. If I represent the norm in any way, Gerry V has killed their ratings. He was so bad that I changed the station each morning and would forget to put it back in the afternoon. So no WJBO all day.

Don't know what his name was from this morning or if he is temp. Tried doing a google search and this Gerry V tweet from 35 min ago came up....

I stopped listening to WRNO 99.5 because of him. Absolutely awful.

The only radio personality worse than Jerry V is Karry Johnson. K J is so annoying it's amazing.

Never heard of kJ but I find it highly unlikely that anyone is worse than GV. Im incapable of even imagining it.

Same here. I used to listen to Osterlind in the afternoons on the drive home. Gerry V is nothing more than a common oxygen thief.

This is awesome. I couldn't listen to one minute of this guy. Now if they would get rid Mike Berry or whatever his name is I might put the station back on.

Combine him, who actually went through a period during the campaign in which he refused to mention Trump's name, with Beck, Berry, and M. McCain, and it's obvious the problem is with that General Manager.

I can almost forgive the nationally syndicated shows though. They promise fairly consistent ratings and add buy. However, hiring Gerry V? Wtf?

I rarely send emails to radio stations, but I did in reference to this guy. He was horrible, mostly cared about New Orleans issues, and his horrible accent was nauseating. I told them in the email that I'd never listen to JBO in the morning as long as he was there and I didn't. Good riddance!

I left WJBO in the morning last year over Gerry V and started listening to Walton & Johnson. They aren't perfect but at least Walton & Johnson make me laugh occasionally.

I listened to them some, but mostly Mike and Mike on ESPN radio.
