Please someone explain to me like I’m a Kindergartener how Haley is losing to Trump by 40% in the primary but will beat Biden by 18% in the general?

How clueless is the MSM and other pundits who make this claim?! Haley would lose 50-60% of the GOP votes cause it’s Maga!

Makes -0 sense…. It’s clear they don’t want Trump as the nominee

'Haley' is only typing 5 letters. It would have prevented me from wondering: 'How can New Hampshire be losing to Trump?'

Either people are not being consistently truthful in the polls or the polls themselves are vary widely in accuracy.

Just like 2016.

Because there are a lot of Rep voters that won't vote or Poll until the General election. Add Independents too.

Even if she does this, she's still underperforming Trump from 2020.

Lot of never Trumpers (especially women) like Haley. They will vote for Biden if Trump is the nominee. It is what it is. Trump has turned off a lot of women.

Republican primary voters aren’t the same as GE voters. And the winner takes all format of early states means you need to win a few upfront. That’s how we got McCain, Romney and likely Trump.

Not just women. Regular Rep, Middle of the road Rep., Ind.,

Trump has the extreme far right, but that's really it.
Works great in a Primary but not in the general election.

You think independents are going to vote for a neocon like Haley?

You would have to help me understand how this is true. Trump gained 10 million votes last election. Do we honestly believe Haley would draw 75 million votes?

I understand Biden got 81 mil but then you have to justify and explain the obvious stuff like how the dems stuffed ballot boxes and having certain areas voting at a 105% turnout rate and changing the rules illegally without the approval of congress in the middle of the night.

Haley couldn't win an election in South Carolina right now.

Probably because Trump vs. Haley polls are polls of likely Republican voters, where Biden-Haley polls are polls of voters including Democrats, Republicans, and independents.

Makes perfect sense if the polls are of those demographics.

This board is an echo chamber and is out of touch with the mainstream which is a pretty big distaste for both Trump and Biden. Popularity on fringe message boards does not equate to overall popularity. Some may hold their noses and vote for Trump or Biden but especially those who are older would gladly show up for Haley as she isnt either of the other options.

If this woman is the nominee, this R voter will be sitting at home.

It’s a fricking psy-op. Get that through your head.

All polls are psy-ops.

A better question is why would anyone trust "polls" in an American political election?

Yeah that is not even close to being correct. I am part of the demographic you just mentioned. I and everyone that I know thinks Haley is a neocon POS. They nor I will vote for her period.
