I challenge you to find a bigoted comment I've made, especially regarding Muslims. People see through your facade and it is pissing you off.

It doesn't matter what a Rabbi in NY thinks.

But civilians in Gaza, like civilians in Japan during WWII, civilians in Germany in WWII, and civilians in the South in the Civil War, etc. pay a price for supporting a govt. that is fighting a war and eventually if the war comes to their homeland there will be civilian deaths.

Hamas was elected by the civilians in Gaza. They are building tunnels in Gaza communities. They are fortifying Gaza communities and firing rockets throughout these communities.

These civilians are responsible for a certain extent for letting this happen just as Japanese civilians, and German civilians were in WWII.

It is unfortunate, but its a fact of life.

I'm still waiting on an example of my bigotry.

You made an unwarranted accusation.

Uh, the owner of the house would be in play. Seems extremely obvious.

That's fair, but I don't think the Rabbi made the distinction you are making.

Correct. But that might be his thinking and left out of the context. Dunno.

You've already admitted to hating a subset of Jews in this thread.

You defended your bigotry by attacking me. Now prove your allegations you coward.

I follow you, but do you also believe Israeli civilians are fair game in this war? What about American civilians whenever we're at war with another country? Does your rationale apply to the civilians of all nations that are at war?

Of course civilians of any warring nation are at risk of being casualties of war. What a silly question.

What's the rationale that Hamas, Hezbollah, Al Qaeda et al use in their attack on civilians?

I said I hated Likud, not Jews? Do you really believe it's wrong to hate a specific group of people based based on their beliefs and actions? Does hating Al Qaeda or ISIS make one an Islamophobe? Does hating the KKK make one a racist? Does hating the IRA make one an anti-Catholic bigot? Take some time to get your thoughts together because so far you aren't making any sense.

Silly question? Perhaps you should take it up with the folks who drew up the Geneva's Convention for making such a "silly" distinction between civilians and combatants?

Good grief.

Civilians take hits in conflicts despite the GC.

Not anything new.

I don't think anyone on this board has ever claimed that those groups have never targeted civilians, but all I'm saying if another nation does it, they lose the right to condemn others for doing it, because what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Agreed. In war, there are no civilians, there is just the enemy. Had we thought of German and Japanese civilians as such, we wouldn't have won the war as quickly as we did.

Sure, if it is a convenient cover for your real feelings. It's like saying: "I don't hate all blacks, just the ones that listen to rap music"

Still waiting on you to show how I'm bigoted.

So you're saying Israel had the high ground.

I'm not supporting either side, but quoting random people that aren't even involved in the conflict seems odd.

Everybody here knows that, but do you personally believe civilians should betargeted? After all, it is supposedly U.S. position on civilians that distinguishes us from groups like Al Qaeda who believe civilians are fair game.
