We're discussing the sanity of nominating a guy that's destined to lose, as indicated by the polls.

None of that matters. What matters is spending time to make sure that does not happen in the general.

Is that the strategy behind calling DeSantis a loser RINO while snuggling up to Lindsey Graham?

What is Trump doing to consolidate support on the Right and attract new voters in the Center?

I'm sure he'll be indicted a few more times. So there's that.

No one in their right mind would vote for Biden after the last 3 years. Poll is disinformation.

Been out in public lately? I don't think we have anyone in their right mind left around. We're surrounded by stupidity.

Keep blaming the voters when the GOP puts up shitty candidates and see how things work out.

As Desantis said, the time for excuses is over and decline is a choice.

We can easily cruise to an easy victory in 2024 and usher in a generation of conservative governance or we can nominate Trump and hand the government over to the Democrats.

One of the options has already lost to Biden once. Badly, in fact.

The other option is running 30 points behind the first option.

Why in Gods name would you trumpet (pun intended) this poll?

Because winning the primary and losing the election is what losing losers do and have done since 2018

Everybody knows the indictments have made Trump surge with Republicans. The story is whether or not Trump's chances in the general are shitty relative to DeSantis's.

Trump was crushing Desantis before that. Has been crushing him since the beginning.

No one is talking about the premise of the poll:

That Biden will survive to be nominated.

It's ridiculous to say Trump cannot win a fair election in those states in 2024.

The polls done in the last 6 months in GA and AZ say otherwise. Trump is damaged goods in these states. Why take the chance.

Yep - Trump could find the cure for cancer tomorrow and he would still lose Georgia & Arizona.

You mean Lindsey knows who he needs to back?

The fact is, Trump is going to win the nomination. Trump is going to win the General just like last time. The issue is will we either:

- Out Cheat the dems
- or the states do something meaningful.

Trump is attracting more and more Hispanics and Black Americans. The GOP will vote overwhelmingly for Trump. Independents will break his way(polls already showing that)

Well, yeah, the establishment knows who'll feed it.

I'm not debating that. I think it's likely, too. The question is about these recent polls and whether or not it's retarded for Republicans to replay 2020.

I hope not. I'm pretty f'n tired of the administration occupying the WH.

I think you're dreaming, especially where independents are concerned. Trump fatigue is a real thing.

Moreover, I see Trump following the Kari Lake strategy of blowing a very winnable election with his weird/petty obsession with Rob DeSanctimonious.
