Not a fan.
But it’s not my flag.
That text in the bottom corner isn’t necessary.

By Mississippi law, the new flag must say "In God We Trust" and I agree. All flags should have it.

TBH it's not horrible. I don't think they should change it in the first place though.

At first glance I thought it was a Virginia Tech logo. But it will not be allowed because of the In God We Trust.

Fwiw this isn't an actual proposal. CNN asked black artists to come up with ideas and this was one of them.

I didn’t know of the law—thanks.
I certainly agree with the sentiment.
But the way it’s depicted, it looks like the logo flag in front of a business park.

Just one worthless opinion.
I can’t imagine the headache involved in making such a change; I wish MS the best in the process.

That would definitely put MS in the running for worst flag in the union. Holy shite that's bad.

Would look kinda cool as the flag and logo for a minor league baseball team, but pretty awful for a state flag.

How is this difficult? Just take a blue field, stick a magnolia flower in the middle, and type the state motto or something like that on a scroll below it.
