There are many military contractor and NGO business that hang in the balance depending on whether or not this bill passes. Many will go under if this bill is not passed. Their livelihoods depend on Ukraine funding.

The border deal is a fraud if you read the text it says people who caim asylum will be held and not released for 90 days until it's approved and they are given a court date. Currently they are just letting people claim aylum and releasing them. Biden can get this passed and just aprove 5,000 Asylum claims per day and release them anyway. It's just made up text that appears asylum seekers won't be released but it's up the the adminstration in charge policy on what they consider legit asylum claims.
