Has a music playing marvel comic character been here to discuss yet?
Well the OP did mention Isado in hus post, so I suspect Spidey will be here shortly to explain why he is a hack. BTW I am still waiting on some links by spidey proving how Isado and the others are hacks.

Well I did post a link to over a thousand plus peer reviewed papers that offered evidence to the skeptics. So I am sure spidey is reading the articles and will give me an through answer.

I did not post this to argue with true believers. I simply posted it as a tool to help people to spread the truth.

I don't know what percentage of global warming or climate change is caused by man. I'm not arguing that none of it is. I am just tired of the lies.

97% of scientists are lying because they want a big, bad despotic government. Funny stuff. You should write a novel.

While that is a fantastic endorsement of what I'm saying, I don't think this is the thread for religious zealots such as yourself. We're talking science in here.

Without taking a side on the science, the AGW-as-state-control narrative has always struck me as needlessly complex. The state has numerous ways to increase it's power, ways that are tried and true and don't depend on the populace exhibiting an as-yet untested willingness to mitigate a far-off ecological crisis. War hawking, of course. Ginning up economic crises. Exploiting ethnic tensions. All of these can and have been used in the past to attain near-total control by governments in history. And I don't buy for a moment we're somehow "too sophisticated" for those methods such that we need a couple decades of scientists making fancy charts. If anything giving your populace that kind of long consideration period is counterproductive.

it supports the idea that cosmic rays affect the climate and that climate sensitivity is low. This means that part of the 20th century [warming] should be attributed to the increased solar activity and that 21st century warming under a business as usual scenario should be low (about 1°C).”

This is(or was) basic high school science that I learned years ago.

Has the education system been degraded that much?

Kids today can tell us about social issue like gay marriage, drug legalization...

I fear for the future of our nation, I truly do.

A little perspective since the religious nuts are getting cheeky again. I can show you the Earth is cooling using almost any time frame longer than the last 150 years. But frick science and frick history, right?

Again, 97% of scientists who agreed with the man-made global warming, agree with global warming. Not 97% of all scientists.

Statistics are easily manipulated when you hand pick the pool you are surveying. You should be ashamed it's not 100%.

Wait, you can't comprehend the government looks to all avenues to increase it's power? I guess you missed the governments solution to combat "global warming" was to issue taxes.
