Murkowski can't be primaried till 2022.

That's a shame as Alaska would elect another conservative Republican like Sullivan their other senator. As bad as Collins is, without her Maine would be putting in a Democrat so there's no realistic gain to be had by her being primaried by a candidate who won't win the general election.

this is exactly why she voted to repeal Obamacare in 2015 because she knew that Obama would just veto it and she'd have political cover

She lost the Republican Primary in 2010, ran as a write-in candidate and won with only 39.5 percent of the vote. Because it's a mid-term election year, she may do exactly that.
