Before I click on a blind link, do give us a brief intro.

Religion is a hell of a drug.

Religion is the worst idea we've ever had.

It served it purpose. Politics has taken its place

I'm not religious either but you can't possibly put Islam and Christianity up beside each other and objectively say that one isn't infinitely more dangerous and intolerant than the other.

I look at religion as moral guidelines established for the period of time they were in that have failed to progress and evolve with the rest of civilization. I don't think it's all bad. But it's definitely not all good either.

Looks to me like an arrogant, Atheist, German prick picked an argument with a devout Muslim passionate about his faith.

Both are dangerous and intolerant for similar reasons. At some point, you're just discussing varying degrees of each.

There is only one true religion and the rest can die away. Christ is the only way to peace and reconciliation with God.

FooManChoo has got it right. Atheists, there is no second chance after death. You better be right.

How are you supposed to fake believing? Seems like God would know I was just hedging my bets.

It hasn't occurred to many that God would look down on those who tried to use their "faith" as spiritual insurance. Ignorance is bliss.

See, I look at it this way.
Lets say the Christians are correct and when I die I'll face God to be judged.
God, being an omnipotent and omniscient being, is going to know everything I've done in my life. I've tried to live a good life, do the right thing, help people out, etc. But I'm not Christian, don't go to church, etc.
So here I am at the pearly gates. I'd like to think God is going to care more about how I lived my life than how many times I've sat in a pew, sang hymns, and gave to the collection plate.
Now your "Christian" that attends church religiously, can quote the bible, yet cheats on his wife I like to think is fricked.
Actions, not words and all that jazz.

That's pretty much how I look at it. I can't force myself into believing something, and an all knowing God would know I'm full of shite if I faked it. What I can do is live a good life and if there really is a god, hope that he takes that into consideration.
The "better hope you're right" arguments are silly because I doubt God would be satisfied by my pretending to be a believer.
