I was just listening to MSNBC on Sirius for laughs. They are actually upset that foreign dignitaries will be staying at Trump Hotels and putting money directly in Trumps pocket. They actually said that when people meet with Trump they can bring up that they stayed at a Trump hotel and thus could potentially get preferential treatment.
They saw zero problem with someone donating 5 million dollars to the Clinton Foundation and then having dealings with Clinton as Sec of State. But someone stays in a $800 hotel room they are going to get special treatment. One guest said there was a 100% chance that trump would be brought up on bribery charges during his term.

So here is my problem and confliction. My old law professor wrote an article for the Washington Post asking that Trump cut ties with the hotel and end the lease. Let the government settle whatever costs he has incurred to this point and allow to rebrand. Said it was a conflict of interest regarding government contracting because he would be overseeing the agency responsible for managing the property...

Theoretically, he is absolutely correct. Professor Schooner from George Washington University...

Trump needs to stay away from his business while in office. People will look for the slightest thing on which to impeach him.

Won't Dems have to have a majority in at least one of the chambers to bring impeachment charges? I guess they might get some Republicans on board, but it seems unlikely if things are going well for Trump.

One way or the other he better have a knowledgeable White House Counsel on staff not just one of his corporate lawyers. They are going to stay busy advising him on these gray areas with his businesses that he needs to avoid as much as possible.

And when it comes to the Clinton's Foundation the MSM is all crickets. Perhaps they can tell us how some one on government dole is worth 200+ million. Will not hold breath for that.

Bribery charges

Would have to be a MASSIVE amount. Dude is worth 3.7B. Not sure what amount would even make him consider bribery
