Imagine that. They control the Senate and Presidency as well as the Lying Media (MSM). When they gather their RINO friends, it is no wonder the US keeps sending billions to Ukraine.

Democrats Know Best. Just Ask Them.

If a China/Russia alliance is a threat to our status as a superpower (or a BRICS alliance for that matter) anything that can be done to their detriment could potentially work to our benefit. Russia is not our ally. Ukraine as far as I'm concerned isn't either but they're probably somewhere in neutral territory. Our support of Ukraine is certainly doing long term damage to Russia. It's unfortunate that it comes at such a great fiscal cost on our end and the loss of life for Russians and Ukranians but a weaker Russia and/or China protects the status of the U.S. as the lone dominant superpower

Blowhard Vivek says if we give Russia whatever they want, they'll reject China and fall in love with the USA.

All our actions in Ukraine are helping to create and solidify a China/Russia alliance with a massive natural resource/manufacturing/agriculture base with extensive connections throughout the world, including South and Central America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, positioning itself as an option to US power hegemony.

If we had any brains, or, more accurately, if our political elite class actually cared about Americans in general rather than just themselves, we would be taking strategic steps to split China and Russia rather than pursuing a policy that drives them together.

But Europe, who until recently did not pay a dime for NATO expansion and membership, obviously did not feel threatened.

The Russians love their children too. To use Russia's nuke threat as a reason to cause conflict resulting in tremendous loss of life, especially when the peace was being negotiated until Boris "Bonehead" Johnson tripped and fell into it, is an extremly far reach.

You didn't ask me but I would have to believe our military, as well as NATO, is reevaluating their assessments of Russian military battlefield capability.

Russia has demonstrated a clusterfrick of battlefield ability in spite of having air superiority in the entire theater.

A stronger Russia?
A stronger China?
A weaker US?

What exactly did you have in mind as being beneficial?

Russia isn’t getting stronger, just the opposite is happening.

A stronger China?

China is getting stronger, but not by helping Russia.

A weaker US?

Ukraine isn’t making us weaker, it’s our president.
