First and foremost, Confederate Veterans are afforded the same rights and privileges as veterans of other American wars. Removing the monuments are akin to tearing down other memorials. Second, he has remove monuments under the cover of darkness like a yellow bellied coward. If he is so sure of himself and his intentions, why doesn't Mitch show up to help remove the monuments. Mitch needs to be drug out of office. The statue removal is nothing more than a red herring for a failing city - violent crimes, high tax rates, poor city run public services, failing schools, ....
