The moment I read the line stating he owned parking lots, this is the first thing to pop to my head. It's corruption at its finest! Person owns parking lots, person becomes mayor, person increases costs of street parking and fines so now more public consumers will rather pay for parking in lots.

fricking pathetic. So what though, becuase this bullshite will never change. NOLA, just like LA, NY and other democratic strongholds, will continue to elect these crooked conartists for that D and name recognition.
