There is a difference between science and religion. One is supposed to be taught in public schools; there other isn't
FLAWED PREMISE as it relates to the issue.
Both Religion and Science are employed to qualify/quantify the PERCEIVED UNIVERSE. The Perceived Universe...is. Whatever it is.
Reglion's First Principle is that the Perceived Universe is "Spirit". I.e., an abstract Entity/Power. Intellect is an abstract 'entity'. Knowledge is an abstract Power. Tell me that Knowledge is NOT Power, or that the Intellect that that is able to employ Knowledge as Power - by DEGREE - would not become SCIENTIFICALLY quantifiable. And to the degree that Infinite Intellect was able to absorb (understand) and employ Infinite Knowledge....what would such an *Entity* be?
Guess Who/What? The Big Guy!
Science and Religion are joined at the hip. At a particular point - as Stephen Hawking percieved and validated..."Reality is subjective". So, at that point...personal choice kicks in...and the individual perceiver...choose his reality. "Parallel Universes"...."many Mansion".
Show me a culture that progresses with the Religious/Spiritual/'God' paradigm...and I'll show you a progression toward Unity and Love. Unity being Love.
Show me a culture that worships Science alone, and I'll show you one that progresses straight toward the Black Hole of the Singularity.
Enjoy the ride to whichever you nature bids that you choose.
sorry for the edit...I throw this stuff up on the wall too fast.
