Milo is effective at using rhetoric the same way terrorists use violence. He gets the other side all riled up, they overreact, and he counts his new followers. (Note: rhetoric is obviously the far superior preference to violence, so that's not meant to be a knock on Milo)

He and trump are similar creatures, which is why I think Milo likes trump so much. I do think Milo is conservative, but like trump he exaggerates and says things in inflammatory ways to rile people up.
