Former First Lady Michelle Obama criticized women who voted for President Donald Trump during a wide-ranging conversation in Boston Wednesday that addressed life in the White House, her forthcoming book, and the challenges of discrimination that women face together.

“Any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice,” Obama told the audience during a question-and-answer session with author Roxane Gay at Inbound, a marketing conference that has attracted an assortment of famous speakers this week.

Putting aside the condescending tone (I know your interests better than you do), why to people on the left insist they don't let race and gender factor into their judgement of people, but then insist that if you are part of group x, you need to think a certain way?

**Snoozer alert**

Even with her husband's help, HRC still couldn't pull it off

None of the women in my family have interests that are aligned with the DNC, regardless of the race of the candidate. Hillary just emphasized that by being a terrible person.

I wonder if she realizes her statement could be interpreted to mean that whites who voted for Obama were voting against their own voice??

Another genius prog/lib. Chastise women for making their own decisions.

A man that was caught saying " grab them by the pussy" defeated Hillary Rodham.....hahahaha

That's how much people hate Hillary. I told them to pick Biden but nobody wants to listen.

Very valid point and really incontrovertible. She is advocating that people vote solely on gender. The argument was previously made about voting for Obama solely based in race.

My question for her is this: when women Democratic primary voters voted for her husband instead of for Hillary, were they "voting against their own voice" then?

What about black women?

What's louder, one's racial voice or one's gender voice?

Inquiring minds need to know.

Blacks have been dutifully voting for "their voice" in the Democratic Party for over 50 years and they have done swimmingly.

I can't wait to tell my wife this.

I disagree. We need to give her a bigger microphone and encourage her to make even more insulting, sweeping accusations.

Good question. I'd love to hear her answer that.

I mean that's their game - identity politics. They don't hide it - encourage all minorities and all females to vote the same way by creating a false image of oppression.
