Any word yet on if the guns they caught him with came from Eric Holder?

I dunno. Wasn't Fast and Furious targeted more along the Arizona border and the guns going to the Sinaloa Cartel?

Think so but I also just assume that Holder was/is running guns all throughout Mexico.

Good news.

This fricked up hyper-partisan country could use some.

These cartels are setup like fortune 500 companies most likely

More crude than a 500 company.

They'll have a new CEO and be up and running full force within a fiscal quarter

They will, but it's not done through voting, but by different factions fighting for the top spot. Lot's of killing coming up. Was one of the reason's the new Mexican president had said he would not go after kingpins because of the vacuum it leaves in the cartel. Many innocents get caught up in it.

I don't think that will happen. I think one of them will assume the leadership position quickly and the majority will support him in an effort to keep the Sinaloa Cartel from overtaking them.

Also, seeing how Morales was captured and not killed, he probably is still calling the shots and appointed a successor.

This capture is meaningless. As long as there's lots of money to be made in the drug game there will be people playing it.

This.

End the war on drugs and take away an entire industry from these guys.

The origin of Los Zeta really is a fascinating story. Retired Army officer flips 31 CIA & Israeli trained special operators to the dark side, it really sounds too Hollywood to be true. But the corpses and severed heads are real enough.

Zilch. Unless you are in the south where you see it often, no one gives two shits. AZ, NM, TX, CA are literally on the forefront so stemming the flow is a necessity.

I'll have to find the link, but there is a woman who does investigative reporting from the Exxon oilfields in S Texas. The cartels literally mimic the Exxon trucks to run their loads through Exxon's property. It's quite crafty actually b/c they never get stopped.
