2023 and beyond is going to suck for the working man

LINK

quote:

This wholesale inflation is ultimately passed on to consumers in the form of higher prices. However, businesses have been shielding customers from some price increases to preserve sales, which is why the PPI has run hotter than the CPI for every single month of Biden’s presidency.

quote:

Although the slowdown in inflation in certainly welcome, it’s not a sign of things to come. By opening the strategic petroleum reserve, Biden has flooded the market with crude, which has momentarily brought down energy prices. But when the spigot is eventually shut, if for no other reason than the salt domes are emptied, prices will resume their relentless march higher. That’s bad news for millions of American families. Record high diesel prices, for instance, raised prices throughout the economy and were a key contributor to creating four-decade high inflation. That caused American households to lose $1 trillion in net worth in the third quarter of this year, and that was after losing $6 trillion in the second quarter. No wonder almost 70 percent of Americans are struggling to buy food, with some having to finance groceries on credit cards.

Look at how much value several blue chips have lost in the last year.

Amazon
Microsoft
Oracle
Etc etc In many cases 1/2 of their 2020 value.

And the Dems/RINOs have sent billions of dollars to Ukraine.

The current establishment RINOs played their role perfectly and effectively neutralized the upcoming House majority by passing the omnibus. The majority means pretty much nothing now that they're neutered. What are they going to do, launch committees and investigations into people and entities that can't be touched? Yes, and it will result in nothing but more wasted time and money.

1.7 trillion dollars.

$1,700,000,000,000. That's a lot of zeros.

That's how much of our tax money that we already don't have, that our exalted supreme subjugators are spending to fund themselves and their agenda for 12 months.

We are so fricked that I can only laugh

Thank you President Trump for making it legal to wish one another “Merry Christmas” and putting the atheist libtards back in their place.

I’ve listened to several economists and investment gurus say that inflation has likely peaked and by late 2023 inflation could 4% or lower…….we’ll see.

Let this marinate…..the cost to service US debt is approaching $750 billion annually.

Between the deer camp and Christmas I’ve made it a point to isolate myself as much as possible from the real world the past two weeks; what was in the omnibus that did this?

Would take an absolute demolition of the economy to slow it that much. Interest rates at well north of 15%. Unemployment skyrocketing, and a whole host of things.

Our government is printing money to send to Ukraine daily. You can’t keep doing that and lower inflation.

Man, I envy you. I've been on vacation since the 16th and I go back to work Tuesday, and I just couldn't seem to get away from the topic of politics and wokeness. You get some venison for the freezer, baw?

Well...

$1,700,000,000,000.

And some of the little gems included in this bill are things like funding Planned Parenthood abortions in areas affected by "climate change" that "cannot sustain a population increase due to environmental obstacles". A clear violation of the Hyde Amendment, but perfectly fine somehow since it was passed in an omnibus instead of a budget.

The Uniparty Establishment Machine is doing whatever they want by passing these omnibus bills instead of Congress actually doing their fricking jobs and passing a budget.

Last two years have been rough. 2023 has to be better.

Indeed, back to reality. I wonder, if during my trans transition I should have my new mammaries placed on my back? I think it would make me a much more desirable dance partner, no?

Like who?

Was this before or after the omnibus was passed?

You realize printing money makes inflation worse, right?
Raising interest rates to 100% wouldn't get inflation to 4% in 2023.
