Wikileaks released tens of thousands of internal Democratic National Committee emails last summer, with Russia thought to be the source, and just weeks after the release, DNC staffer Seth Rich was fatally killed while walking to his Washington, DC home. Now some Members of Congress are raising questions about these events.

“I do not believe that the evidence at this time proves that the Russians would conclude that the Russians are the the ones who hacked the DNC. We have heard every report from the intelligence groups that are making their reports and they have weasel words in them, and they are based on opinion based on someone who is probably a strong liberal democrat,” says Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-California).

Reports of the Russian hack of the DNC seem to be based on mere opinion says California Congressman Dana Rohrabacher. And Rohrabacher believes other possible alleged sources of the computer breach—potentially including murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich–should be investigated.

You mean the Representative that the Speaker joked was being paid by Putin and sided with Russia when they invaded Georgia?

Rohrabacher would vote in Russia's interest over his own district.

The furor over the hack only serves to provide distraction for the fact that the dimocratix primary was rigged. And that Hillary, herself, did some shady stuff, too.

Meh...as it gets closer to the mid terms, the lazy arse, good for nothing GOP congress will start acting like they're looking out for Trump to get reelected. Kinda like the lazy arse football players going into the final season of his contract...steps it up, new deal, next season...business as usual.

Can anybody guess why the FBI wasn't allowed access to inspect the server supposedly hacked by America's greatest geopolitical foe?

AU_Right, the behavior of the Republicans can be explained by the fact that quite a number of them want Trump to fail and be removed. Trump is being attacked continuously by the media and the dimms, and the Republicans are not coming to his defense. The entire D.C.political apparatus needs to be investigated regardless of party affiliation. Can you imagine a dimm being attacked as Trump is and the dimm party not vigorously defending him?

Well, Democrats/ DNC haven't provided any evidence that Russia hacked their servers, aside from a report by an independent company the DNC hired to investigate the hack, who then forwarded their report (that has since been debunked by multiple cybersecurity firms) to the FBI. For some strange reason, the DNC refused (and continues to refuse) to allow the FBI to access or examine those servers themselves. One would think that if the DNC was so certain that it was Russia, as they continue to claim, they'd be glad to give the FBI Access to their servers and pursue espionage charges, etc.

But instead they want to continue these pointless, waste of taxpayer money investigation charades involving Trump and Russia. So republicans should open an investigation into the Seth rich case and run them simultaneously- get to the bottom of both issues.

Why would the Dems have any problem with that?

“Whoever it could be, we need to look into it and verify. The fact that the young man’s death has not been followed by an investigation that would even be in place for an ordinary murder is very suspicious to me,” Rohrabacher ventures.

And Rohrabacher isn’t the only Member of Congress asking questions. Texas Congressman Blake Farenthold also wonders whether or not the intrusion into the DNC computer server may have been an inside job, potentially by any DNC staffer in a similar position like that of Seth Rich.

“I think it should definitely be a part of the investigation. It’s an alternative theory and any good investigation looks at alternative theories,” observes Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-Texas). “We need to investigate all the options. A lot of the allegations about Russia and some of the allegations about President Trump now are all coming from un-named sources. Sources suggesting it was an inside job are probably just as valid as somebody not willing to give their name.”
