Media double standard really is just hilarious sometimes

Trump mentions family, freedom, country and God in his Poland speech and the media brands it as an "alt-right manifesto" and coded language of racism and xenophobia.
Linda Sarsour, while speaking to freaking Hamas, refers to Jihad against Trump in the US, and the media trips all over itself to tell people how they are interpreting it wrong and how they don't understand what she's actually saying because Islam.
It all just needs to burn.

Great point. Some side-by-side video edits would be nice to show the contrast and spread some red pills.

Rush had a great term for them - a circular firing squad.

Notice the descriptors used by the media and the efforts to frame her as a do-gooder who is misunderstood by ignorant conservatives and a victim.
Wapo LINK
The story becomes not what Sarsour said, but the reaction to it. For example:
Now how did WaPo handle Trump's speech?
Let's see what was so "dark" and "provocative":

Pretty spooky IMO, I'm literally shaking right now.
And just for LULZ, here's Vox's take:
quote:
Linda Sarsour, a lead organizer of the Women’s March on Washington and one of the most high-profile Muslim activists in the country, gave an impassioned speech last weekend that at first gained little attention.
Speaking to a predominately Muslim crowd at the annual Islamic Society of North America convention in suburban Chicago, Sarsour urged her fellow Muslims to speak out against oppression.
In her speech, Sarsour told a story from Islamic scripture about a man who once asked Muhammad, the founder of Islam, “What is the best form of jihad, or struggle?
“And our beloved prophet … said to him, ‘A word of truth in front of a tyrant ruler or leader, that is the best form of jihad,'” Sarsour said.
quote:
Meanwhile, Muslims and non-Muslims alike came to Sarsour’s defense. Soon the hashtags #istandwithlinda and #myjihad spread on Twitter, with many Muslims sharing their own personal interpretations of jihad.
quote:
Jihad is a central concept in Islam, and the Arabic word literally translates as “struggle” or “striving.” While the word is indeed used by some to refer to a physical military struggle to defend Islam, most Muslims use it to refer to a personal, spiritual effort to follow God, live out one’s faith and strive to be a better person.
Over the years, Muslim advocacy groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations have taken out ad campaigns and other efforts to promote a peaceful interpretation of the word jihad and denounce its connections to violent Islamist extremism.
quote:
All this has left Sarsour and her family feeling constantly on edge. She said she has had to hire private security for appearances and events. She no longer takes public transportation, she said. “I don’t feel safe in my own city.”
She’s even afraid to walk with her children through New York City. While accompanying her children to order takeout food recently, she avoided walking beside them, crossing to the opposite side of the street. “I don’t want my kids to be in the crossfire,” she said.

In a dark and provocative address with nationalist overtones, Trump said that “the fundamental question of our time is whether the West has the will to survive.”
Let's see what was so "dark" and "provocative":
quote:
Poland’s right-leaning populist nationalist government is a natural ally for Trump. The country's Law and Justice Party has embraced some of the main pillars of Trump’s candidacy, including a similar resistance to accepting Muslim refugees.
“While we will always welcome new citizens who share our values and love our people, our borders will always be closed to terrorism and extremism,” Trump said. “We cannot accept those who reject our values and who use hatred to justify violence against the innocent.”
quote:
“We must stand united against these shared enemies to strip them of their territory, their funding, their networks and any form of ideological support,” Trump said.
quote:
“We must work together to counter forces, whether they come from inside or out, from the South or the East, that threaten over time to undermine these values and to erase the bonds of culture, faith and tradition that make us who we are,” Trump said.

Hilarious is really not the word for it at this point. It's blatant bias and basically a ideological war of words and fake news. I think we are headed for an inevitable geo-political divide.
