In a "new world order under enormous strain" and in "the titanic struggle with forces of radicalism … we can't stand by and lament, we've got to be involved," said McCain, a former Republican presidential candidate who is now chairman of the armed services committee in the US Senate.

Speaking at the Brussels Forum, a conference organised by the German Marshall Fund, a transatlantic think tank, he said that the EU and the US needed to develop "more cooperation, more connectivity".

That fricker is gonna die bitter over the fact that he was never POTUS...something that he (like Hillary) always felt that he was entitled to.

Yes, I'm also happy to see him use the phrase "New World Order". IMHO, what he and Bush, Sr., mean when they use this phrase is not as nefarious and conspiratorial as some have come to believe. IMHO, the phrase is a name for the Globalist ideology, a portion of which indeed does believe in the subjugation of some nationalistic self interest for the benefit of the international community.

My view is that Nationalism is what is best for the USA, rather than Globalism/Internationalism.

Could you highlight the portion of his remarks in which he slams the US? I'm having some trouble finding that.

Everyone who is against McCain's hell-bent-- neocon, warmongering, transnational progressive globalism is an agent of Putin's.

NT74 will be along shortly to say how nuanced McCain is and he is speaking the truth.

The world order in the context that politicians use it is referring to the power structure and alliances of the world's countries. A balance of power, in other words.

Right now, the Western World dominates the world order, with the U.S. at the forefront.

It has nothing to do with any conspiracy or globalist one world government.

I don't think it's a conspiracy to control the world or anything, but I do believe it opens up our elected officials to the highest bidder internationally, so as to not do what is in the USA's best interest, especially when there aren't term limits.

I'd compare it to "manifest destiny" during Westward expansion. Words like globalism are thrown around to justify the actions.

I agree with you on this. Globalism is not a "conspiracy", but, rather it is a political movement to take the edge off of nationalism and bring all nations under a Globalist Umbrella that will redistribute wealth to help the poor nations of the world.

BUT STILL that means that the US taxpayers WILL BE POORER because we will be sending wealth to poor nations. THAT is the essence of the programs of the Globalist Movement.

Globalism is not a conspiracy. It is a Movement to subjugate some US national interests for the common good of the World. The US military will be used to promote NOT the interests of the USA, but, rather the interests of the World (as discerned by the Globalists). Of course, US national interests and Globalist interests will often be the same.

A Climate Change legal regime establishing taxes and fees for carbon footprint will be imposed because it is in the World's best interests to redistribute wealth from the wealthy USA to a poor nation.

If the US judiciary continues to trend to the Left, we could see a day when a POTUS's decision to take military action could be blocked by a TRO from a Federal Judge, because the Judge will view the US Constitution as applying Globally and in a manner that restricts a Right Wing Nationalist POTUS from taking Anti-Globalist action or actions. If you ask Nancy Pelosi right now her opinion on something like this, I guarantee you she would approve.
