Do you think McConnell is aware that he has a 18% approval with Kentucky voters?

I'm sure he is, he's just never had to be concerned about it. Cucks just keep on Cucking along.

Im pretty sure McConnell wanted this to get out. Letting Trump know he has no obligation to defend him or push his agenda. Anything passed will be on his timeline.

So, Trump Nation is going to rally behind Mitch McConnell and leave Trump to the wolves. The GOPe just don't even have a clue; McConnell and Ryan really believe the go along to get along strategy is still on the table. They'll be calling for bipartisanship when Progressive Opposition/Dem Party is defending those who are laying the Washington Monument on the ground.

Like tits on a boar hog...just there.

That is embarrassing

Trump approval rating in Kentucky is 60%

What does this mean? It's drama and nothing more.

Pretty sure Trump was fully expecting this when he was campaigning and running adds against the McConnell's, the Ryan's and the rest of the "all talk" establishment...not to mention his inauguration speech. Pretty cut and dry.

I have a few questions. has McConnell accomplished anything? Ever? Ok he stalled the nomination of Merrick Garland for SCOTUS. and is that something to even really be proud of? he had to do it but it is not one of Republicans finer moments, stalling a constitutional proviso.

is there a senator who has accomplished less? there is a majority in both houses and he can't lead anyone out of a wet paper bag.

does he hold any conservative positions? any?

didn't Trump appoint his wife to a cabinet level position?

The fact that people like the Mcconnels, Ryans, Mccains of the world constantly get reelected is more of a testament to how fricking clueless the GOP electorate is.

I mean Jesus Christ name a single accomplishment any of these stooges have done in DC. I don't know if its more disturbing how dumb people are electing them or how disgusting it is that these guys lie and constantly do nothing for their party.

Realistically how many more years does the GOP need control of the House and Senate to get meaningful healthcare, tax code, infrastructure done? I would have loved to been at that town hall for Paul Ryan. I bet he got softball question after softball question with shitty answers. I mean frick these guys.

I honestly don't see how GOP party members are more sick of Trump than congressional members. The dude's been in office for 8 months. These motherfrickers have been there for years some decades.

Thanks for the insight,Mitch. You don't have to be Nostradamus to make a prediction like that when you're actively subverting his agenda. He looks like the guy Hannibal Lector fed to the hogs. frick him and that dick with ears,Paul Ryan. They both need to lose their leadership spots and or their seat. If Lindsey "I swear to god I'm not gay" Graham could contract John Mccains tumor this country would be in a lot better shape.

This is perverse. First of all, the issues Trump has are all manufactured. Sure, he is a cowboy and doesn't bite his tongue. He's running the white house like a boiler room, but the things people are melting about like muh russians and muh nazis are all conjured by the leftist media.

Second, who is Mitch fricking McConnell to opine about Trump's viability when he is sitting on an 18% approval rating in his own state? Trump should be worried about Mitch.

McConnell and the rest of the GOP remind me of corporate climbers I've known who kiss loads of arse, blame others, create roadblocks because it might mean their arse if a great idea is implemented poorly at their level, then they suddenly find themselves at or near the top, friendless, everyone hates them, except those above whose asses they kissed on the way up the ladder, then fail miserably when the house of cards they built crumble beneath them.

I only hope the same fate awaits McConnell and the GOP.
