It's his mental state, not his age. Not every elderly person is the subject of a Silver Alert. McCain is. It is ongoing until he is finally returned home to Arizona in perpetuity.

Republicans have thought mccain an a-hole for years. It was one of the few things the left and right agreed on.

Bring back that lovin' feelin'.

Goldwater was the archetype of Reagan Republicanism. His criticism was leveled against increasing Republican extremism in the social (cultural) agenda

Funny, I recall him once saying that "extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice".

p.s. I think what really happened to Barry was that he got old and remarried. His new wife greatly influenced his later views and statements.

Naive or a fool, which is it?

McCain has sold out to a pretty evil agenda.

He could have beaten Obama if he had chosen a running mate capable of pulling some votes. Choosing a cartoon character as his running mate was his demise.

He is still mad.

What an insult to Barry.

McCain stands for nothing, as he sold out in2008 to run for prez.

Stupid comparison.

Goldwater was an actual legit small government conservative that didn't get his small dick hard for more wars, more out of control spending in not just the DOD but other areas of government as well and didn't play footsie with a liberal media democrats.

McCain is a piece of shite who let his veteran reverence go to his head and morph him into what he is today and that's something that's everything that's wrong with the GOP.

Thank Jesus I never voted for him.
