They don't want him sneaking something across without them knowing. He may do some good for the country and word would get out without them putting spin on it.

Could use a bump stock, but takes a little bit of skill to use and not very efficient.

I've stayed at Mandalay numerous and don't recall the windows to open nor any balconies. The shooter must've broken the glass out prior to shooting.

Or a binary trigger, but I doubt that's the case. The fire is too consistent.

I'd say they were probably not as worried about the room charges at that point.

A valet from Mandelay Bay said he heared broken glass falling down on the pavement.

Two concert goers on Fox said the first noise they heard that got their attention was glass breaking then the gunshots.

Updated to 70 casualties?

Or is this source just tallying the earlier reports thinking it was addition?

Not to be a dick, but that's not how it works in my experience. Unless he is an MD.

I'm not saying he didn't identify dead bodies, but typically pronouncing people dead is done by an MD. Which makes me wonder why he would use that terminology.

Regardless, it's a terrible situation.

Man if someone looks like they aren't moving or breathing at all, looks pretty dead to me.

Yeah. But firefighters know they can’t pronounce someone dead. You need at least a nurse or coroner in NV to do that.

Yeah I totally get that it's pretty easy to tell when people aren't alive any more, but pronouncing people dead isn't something that's usually delegated to EMTs. Even in mas casual events, they will usually label expectant and the doc will come by later and pronounce.

I'm a nurse, and I pronounce. I know it's not the same as a first responder, but I know it doesn't have to be an MD.
