Mark just made a good point. Congress is supposed to be a 'deliberative' body. But they don't actually debate. They get up once in awhile and bloviate. But you never see Congressman 'A' say 'X should be done for these 3 reasons' and then opposing Congressman 'B' says 'Your reasons are wrong because.....'

Actual man to man debate occurs in Parliaments like UK and Australia. When was the last time anyone here can remember Congress embroiled in a debate? I know they did it 100 years ago but not in my lifetime.

I like when he fills in. He's knowledgeable about current events and very quick witted.

Congress would have been more effective if the same process had stalled out Obamacare. Instead those disengenuius politicians passed it so we could find out what was in it. Gridlock for the greater good should stop all tax hikes, stupid programs, and violations of our rights.
