I should have said misdemeanors. I'm fine with hard core offenders being barr d from service. A kid who got caught smoking pot or lifting some beer from a gas station should be allowed to serve.

I will say that when we were on Desert Storm there was this one WM at Mag-13, the charms of whose breasts a sweaty T-shirt did little to conceal. She was famous. I only saw her once; I would guess her first sergeant got hold of her.
Also alleged at that time was an Air Force gal who sent $30,000 in money orders back home.

You are allowed to serve with minor shite on your record like that. I would know and still had no issues getting a clearance.

Ok good. I concede the point. Now let's move on to the real issues.
I will say that waivers tighten up for those things when demand for soldiers goes down though. At the height of the Wars waivers were given out like candy. Now it's harder to get them. I was arguing Papa's point that there weren't enough men to fill our ranks, which is ridiculous.

The head of Army Recruiting seems to disagree with you.
And there is absolutely no reason women can't perform many many of the tasks the Military needs to have done. Belittling their service is counter-productive and unprofessional.

There are a lot of ignorant neckbeards posting today. I think we can all agree that Israel doesn't frick around when it comes to the IDF; they seem to have no problem with mixed gender combat units.
