March 1st, 2017. The day this all started.

Until then, this was all seen as going through the motions. Russians? A nuisance that nobody expected anything to come from it. Then February 28th came. Trump made the greatest speech before Congress that had been made in many decades. He was lauded and applauded. Dems were amazed and completely shocked.
"This could not stand!" was the rallying cry, and thus, on March 1st the coordinated effort in the media and in the government was begun in earnest. Not a single day, since that glorious speech, has Trump gone without a day of chaos, turmoil, innuendo, fake news and threats of impeachment.
Remind yourselves of that night. We all listened and/or watched it. Leftist on here even gave out (grudgingly) praise. CNN, MSNBC, NYT and HuffPo all heaped compliment after compliment on Trump.
They were all saying that evening, "He turned the corner. Finally, he is acting presidential and acting in a way that connects with the nation like nobody since Reagan." It lasted less than 24 hours.
Who pulled the strings and put a stop to it? Who could it be? Just who.... could..... it..... be?

I think you're correct that night the long knives came out.
I think somehow DC got the message to kindly look at the election map. We won't stand for them voiding the election.
You can bet three sweet asses they have a cuck or two all lined up to try to beat Trump. They will never learn, they are blinded in the bubble with greed.What do you think they will all do with themselves now that Graham on a sub committee and the rest of them-- can't show boat a hearing?
Also why are we not talking about Nunes being railroaded with a trumped up ethics violation from a Soro's think tank?
Susan Rice better be subpoenaed by Mueller. I don't care what letter is after anyones name. No one should get away with using the spook agencies, the IRS and so on... as oppo research.
