Going back to W's second term, at around the time of the surge in Iraq, I recall seeing a video message by one Senator Joe Biden. He was being critical of the Bush admin's handling of Iraq. What else is new. But what set this apart from other commentaries is Joe's approach to addressing President Bush. Joe took on the persona of a US soldier, as if he were channeling the voice of the average GI out in the field, and giving a report back to his CiC.

Joe starts off with "Hey boss, things aren't going so well ", and then proceeds to go on a diatribe of how everything is the absolute worst and we need to leave and come home.

Weird thing is, I can't find that video or any transcript of it anywhere. I can find all sorts of things where Joe uses the N word, clips where he gropes women and little girls, and even him boasting about using Hunter as the bag man while Joe was in charge of US policy for Ukraine.

But nothing regarding this video. Even at the time, I was caught at just how bizarre and disconnected this guy was to the norms of basic society where he thought this was some powerful and smart way to play this game against a sitting President.

Does no one else remember this? Or is it just me.

Yep. Joe's ability to boldly flip flop is well known. But this specific video message stuck out to me from the 1st time I saw it. It was so 'off', in so many ways. I GET that politicians are sometimes used car salesmen, and have to ham it up, but this was something way different.

THIS is terrible & cringe. But what Joe did was all him. Not group peer pressure. Not staged theatrics. And it's what set it apart in my mind. So insane and deliberate on his part. Yet no one seems to care or even mentioned it at the time.

This isn’t the Mandela Effect. The Mandela Effect is a collective misremembering of an event or idea by a large group of people.

He does have a history of going off on these weird fantasies.

Plus any wind can blow him.

I remember him flipping and kissing Obama’s arse once it appeared Hillary had no chance.

Notice you never hear much support from Hillary. She just bashes Trump.

Biden doesn’t actually flip flop. He is a pathological liar which is worse. The man has zero core and will say anything in the moment he thinks benefits Joe Biden.

Well, that's accurate. Maybe it's more like the Yesterday effect, like the Beatles movie, where me and 2 other people on the planet remember.
