I left Louisiana when I was 19, Ive never looked back and don't think I could ever live there again.

I certainly wouldn't raise my kid there.

Ive got LSU and a wife who cooks creole as good as any cajun but I need to make a living and over half of you MFs are too stupid to vote for a decent economy.

Dead arse last...

Good job Coon Asses

Do you live in Texas? I'd agree that Louisiana trips itself and then yells at other places.

Your are truly special, most on this board did not vote for numbnuts but will have to accept and deal with the outfall.

My family lives here as well as myself and I am not moving because of that. If I was a younger man I would consider it but I’m not si such is life.

Maybe we can impeach? Lol

I certainly was happier for 9 years when I moved to Virginia/DC, then we came home to watch my mom die 2 years ago after she got cancer...now that’s she’s gone I’m ready to roll. I could move anywhere but I think I’m stuck now due to wife’s parents living here still... If it weren’t for that would move to mountains or beach tomorrow, I can get a job anywhere

Louisiana will never change, too many handouts keep the Democrats voting

As a software professional, I’m glad to have moved as soon as I graduated

I left as well. It sounds like the grandfathers democrats not being real democrats anymore hasn't hit in NOLA.

Also some butthurt Abraham voters. The open party primary in this State is odd. Close the primary.

Lived in Lake Charles until I was 27, then moved to Texas. I used to have my goal as getting back home, but I have had no desire for that in about five years. Just so much dumb shite.

I’m about to join you. I was waiting till this election to see if there is hope for Louisiana. I voted, I tried and there is nothing more I can do but get the hell out. This place is turning into more of a dump every year. Imagine if we didn’t have a trump economy where we would be right now.

Left 15 years ago. Finally got mother- in- law to move out. Now I have no reason at all to ever go back.

I figure there's probably 3 main reasons to live in Louisiana: work has brought you there; family reasons; if the recreation suits your particular tastes. But I guess those could also be the case for any other state.

Lived in two states post graduation from LSU. Like you said, I’m proud to be from Louisiana but Louisiana offers its young citizens nothing but low paying jobs, high taxes, shitty traffic and shitty public education

Quite the combo
