There is a difference here.
Not defending the way some conservatives treated Obama, but the treatment of Trump is far more widespread, and far worse.
When you have a sitting Congressman making a joke about one of his female staffers being used to being on her knees in the Oval Office and the media and moronic voters teehee over it, all the while screaming that the right hates women, you know you've reached a new low.

The most read newspaper by far (the NYT) is as anti-trump as you can be at this point without looking insane. Along with study after study showing vast majority of media members identify more with the left.
